As a Despatch Planner, your responsibilities will include:
* Receive, process and maintain customer schedules and orders
* Plan and generate works orders in line with customer requirements
* Liaise with customers by email, phone and online portals on order status
* Prepare and pack customer shipments in line with specific packaging requirements
* Load and unload vehicles, using forklift training where required
* Maintain accurate records and support the wider logistics and purchasing team
As a Despatch Planner, your experience will include:
* Experience within a manufacturing or logistics environment
* Familiarity with MRP or EDI systems is an advantage
* A proven track record of proactive scheduling and customer order management
* Confident communication skills, comfortable liaising directly with customers
* Forklift licence (FLT) is an advantage, though training can be provided
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
