DT Teacher / Cannock / June Start / Fixed-Term Contract
A highly regarded secondary school in Cannock, South Staffordshire, is seeking a committed and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from 1st June until the end of the summer term (17th July 2026).
Starting after May half-term, the successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, teaching both Art and Design Technology.

DT Teacher - Role Information:
* Teach Art & DT across KS3 and KS4
* Use CAD software, including SolidWorks
* Inspire and motivate students to develop creativity and individuality
* Maintain DT equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
* Fixed-term contract from June to July 2026
* Daily rate: £170-£230 during term-time

DT Teacher - Applicant Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Secondary Art and/or Design Technology
* Recent experience teaching Design Technology
* Strong practical and technical skills, including use of tools and equipment
* Effective behaviour management skills
* Ability to maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
