Academics in Canterbury are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) to work across a range of lovely primary schools in areas including Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Whitstable/Herne Bay, Folkestone/Hythe, and surrounding villages. Whether you're looking for your first permanent role, a long-term placement, or flexible day-to-day supply to gain experience, we have opportunities to suit your needs and build your confidence.

This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills, work alongside experienced mentors, and make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum

* Foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom where every child feels valued and supported

* Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress, adapting your teaching to meet individual needs

* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues

* Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school's values and ethos

* Take part in training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities

* Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, events, and activities

What We Are Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve it this academic year

* A genuine passion for inspiring and supporting young learners

* Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and a commitment to continuous improvement

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* A proactive, resilient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

* Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups

* Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to child welfare

* Right to work in the UK
