Early Years Supply Teacher - Rotherham
Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Supply Teacher seeking flexible work across Rotherham?
Academics are working with a number of supportive nurseries and primary schools in Rotherham who are looking for dedicated Early Years teachers to provide high-quality cover within Nursery and Reception settings on a temporary, ongoing basis.
Position: Early Years Supply Teacher
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you
About the Role
As an Early Years Supply Teacher in Rotherham, you will deliver engaging and structured learning through a mix of play-based and guided activities in line with the EYFS framework.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of schools and nurseries in Rotherham, allowing you to build experience while maintaining flexibility in your working schedule.
You will help to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching within EYFS settings
* Support children's early learning through play and structured activities
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
* Monitor and assess children's development
* Adapt quickly to different school settings across Rotherham
* Work effectively with staff and parents
* Follow safeguarding and school procedures
Candidate Requirements
* EYTS or QTS qualification
* Experience working within early years settings
* Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Flexible and reliable teaching approach
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
