Position: Early Years Teacher
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Flexible working pattern, temporary ongoing
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you
About the Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping early learning experiences for children in Nursery or Reception. You will deliver engaging, creative and nurturing lessons that support children's development, curiosity and independence.
This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility in their working week, with opportunities across a variety of friendly and well-supported Sheffield schools. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time supply, this position allows you to enjoy work-life balance while still making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver inspiring lessons following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
* Support children's academic, social and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
* Track and assess pupil progress, celebrating achievements and identifying next steps
* Build positive relationships with parents and carers
* Promote independence, communication and early learning skills
Candidate Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✔ Experience working within Nursery or Reception
✔ Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
✔ A nurturing, creative and enthusiastic teaching approach
✔ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
