Job Title: Building Services Site Supervisor (Electrical Bias)

Location: City of Westminster, London

Salary: Circa £52,000 per annum 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced Building Services Site Supervisor (Electrical bias) to join our team at our prestigious client. This is a unique opportunity to work in a world-renowned cultural institution in what is widely regarded as a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role:

You will oversee a dedicated team of six engineers responsible for the maintenance and operation of the building’s HVAC systems, including air conditioning and climate control. The role is split between hands-on support and office-based responsibilities, assisting both engineering operations and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervision of day-to-day maintenance operations across the site

- Supporting and assisting the engineering team with hands-on tasks when required

- Liaising with contract support and management to ensure smooth delivery of services

- Monitoring and maintaining HVAC plant systems and climate control across the facility

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies

- Supporting the team with technical issues, including occasional out-of-hours assistance

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within building services

- Strong electrical bias with relevant qualifications

- LV Authorised Person (AP) status is highly desirable – training can be provided if not currently held

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Flexible approach with a willingness to support out-of-hours issues (note: no formal on-call rota)

- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-profile, client-focused environment
