Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in the Manchester office.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Designing and developing electrical systems for a variety of building projects
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
* Conducting technical analysis and preparing detailed reports
* Attending meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress and requirements
* Ensuring compliance with current industry standards and regulations
* Supporting the delivery of sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions
Key Responsibilities
* Produce electrical building services designs across a broad range of projects
* Oversee project delivery from concept through to completion
* Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
* Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal design teams
* Attend project and client meetings, providing technical expertise and leadership
* Ensure all designs comply with current regulations and best practices
* Support and mentor junior engineers where required
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience within Electrical Building Services Engineering
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
* Strong technical knowledge of building services design principles
* Proficiency in:
* Revit
* Dialux
* AutoCAD
* Bluebeam
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ambition to progress towards Chartered Engineer status
Desirable Experience
