Day-to-Day

* Working on a variety of projects across different sectors of the built environment.

* Conducting energy modelling and analysis to inform design decisions.

* Collaborating with clients and project teams to develop innovative, sustainable solutions.

* Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

* Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in building physics, energy modelling, and sustainability.

* Contributing to research and development initiatives to advance the field of sustainable building design.

Responsibilities

* Conduct detailed energy modelling and analysis using IES, SAP, and SBEM software to support sustainable building design.

* Collaborate with architects, M&E engineers, and contractors to develop innovative, low-energy building solutions.

* Provide expert advice on building physics, energy performance, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

* Contribute to the design and optimisation of naturally ventilated buildings and open-plan spaces.

* Support the development of strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions in the built environment.

* Participate in research and development initiatives to drive innovation in sustainable building practices.

* Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in energy modelling and analysis using IES, SAP, and SBEM software.

* A strong understanding of building physics, energy performance, and sustainability principles.

* A degree in a relevant field such as engineering, architecture, or environmental science.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
