We are partnering with a highly respected sustainability and engineering consultancy to recruit a talented Building Physics Engineer for their growing Swindon team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about building performance, low-carbon design, and creating more sustainable developments. You'll work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and design teams, helping shape projects from early-stage concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Building Physics Engineer, you will:

* Carry out dynamic thermal modelling and environmental analysis using IES VE

* Support the delivery of Net Zero Carbon and operational energy strategies

* Provide guidance on compliance with Part L, Part O, TM52/TM59, EPCs, TM54/NABERS, and Passive House standards

* Contribute to sustainability assessments and modelling for BREEAM credits

* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to influence sustainable design decisions

* Produce technical reports and analysis to support planning and compliance requirements

* Stay up to date with industry legislation, standards, and emerging best practices

About You

To be considered, you should have:

* A degree in Building Services Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Physics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline

* Around 2-4 years' experience within building physics or sustainability consultancy

* Strong experience using IES VE software

* A solid understanding of sustainable building design and building performance analysis

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

* A genuine passion for sustainability and low-carbon design
