Sustainability & Energy Consultant
Cardiff (One day a week)
£35,000 - £45,000
Are you a passionate Sustainability Consultant looking for a exciting opportunity to work on meaningful, future-focused projects?
We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our client's sustainability team, with the ability to attend their Cardiff office one day per week. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, providing expert guidance to ensure compliance with energy performance standards and drive low-carbon design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out SAP Calculations and SBEM Assessments to support Building Regulation compliance
* Contribute to sustainability strategies for new developments
* Collaborate with architects and design teams to deliver energy-efficient solutions
* Generate accurate, high-quality reports and assessments
What We're Looking For:
✅ Demonstrated experience in SAP Calculations and SBEM
✅ A good understanding of UK Building Regulations
✅ Based within a commutable distance to Cardiff
✅ Strong communication and reporting skills
Desirable (but not essential):
➕ Experience with Energy Statements
➕ Proficiency in IES VE or other dynamic simulation tools
➕ BREEAM knowledge or similar accreditations
