Engineering Geologist

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineering Geologist to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sheffield. The Role

As an Engineering Geologist, you will be involved in both site and office-based work, supporting the delivery of ground investigation projects from planning through to reporting.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Supervising and carrying out ground investigations

* Logging soil and rock samples to industry standards

* Coordinating with drilling contractors on site

* Collecting soil and groundwater samples for laboratory testing

* Preparing factual and interpretative reports

* Assisting with geotechnical analysis and assessments

* Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures

Requirements

* Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline

* Around 1-3 years of relevant industry experience

* Experience supervising ground investigation works

* Strong report writing skills

* Full UK driving licence
