A specialist ground investigation consultancy in Exeter is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to support a growing workload across the South West.
The company delivers a mix of geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects, with particular expertise in ground investigations, coal mining risk assessments, and slope stability analysis. Their work spans residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
The role:
* Planning and supervising ground investigations
* Logging soils and rock to current standards
* Overseeing site works and subcontractors
* Producing factual and interpretative reports
* Supporting coal mining risk and slope stability assessments
* Liaising with clients and project teams
Requirements:
* Experience in ground investigation or engineering geology
* Strong logging and reporting skills
* Good understanding of geotechnical and geoenvironmental principles
* Experience with coal mining risk or slope stability (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Live within a commutable distance from the Exeter office
