Are you an ambitious and inspiring English HOD ready to make a real impact? A thriving secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a permanent English Head of Department to lead a successful, innovative, and forward-thinking English team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a current English HOD or an experienced English teacher looking to take the next step into departmental leadership. You will join a vibrant and supportive school community in the heart of Lambeth, where students are engaged, ambitious, and eager to learn.
The successful candidate will be an experienced classroom practitioner with a clear vision for outstanding English provision. As English HOD, you will lead curriculum development, drive academic outcomes, and support a dedicated team in delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 to KS5.
