Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Inspire and engage students to achieve their full potential in English

Assess, track and report on student progress effectively

Participate in department planning, meetings, and whole-school events

Foster a positive classroom environment with strong behaviour management
Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
*
Recent experience teaching English at secondary level
*
Strong subject knowledge and passion for literature and language
*
Commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices
*
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Must have a Right to Work in the UK!
* Must be available to start in September 2025
