Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Southampton, which is currently seeking a full-time, permanent English Teacher to join its dedicated English department from January 2026.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
*
Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback
*
Contribute to curriculum development within the department
*
Take part in whole-school initiatives and CPD activities
*
Support the school's ethos of inclusion, aspiration, and respect
Requirements:
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
*
A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
*
Availability to start from January 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis
