Alternative Provision - KS4 & KS5 - Southampton
Academics are looking for a passionate and engaging English Teacher who is able to commit to a full-time, on-going contract, possibly temp to perm starting at October half term.
You will be joining an Alternative Provision set up in the Southampton City Centre area which caters for vulnerable young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, and other associated needs such as autism in KS4 and KS5.
They are looking an experienced English Teacher with QTS who lives in Southampton who is able to plan and deliver engaging lessons to meet their various learning needs. The class sizes are very small so you are able to personalise your teaching. This would be suited to a fully qualified English Teacher who has taught at secondary or FE level.
They aim to give students in Key Stages 4 and 5 an opportunity to access both academic and vocational qualifications. Pupil numbers are low so they are able to offer tailored learning so if you enjoy teaching in this specialist environment, please let me know.
