Experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Location: London

Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 (dependent on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a well established, RIBA Chartered architecture studio based in central London. The practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality design across a diverse portfolio, with current projects spanning residential, hospitality and large scale masterplanning schemes across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting project teams across multiple RIBA work stages

* Assisting with the development of design proposals and technical drawing packages

* Preparing planning documentation, presentations and reports

* Producing high quality drawings and visual material using CAD and other design software

* Supporting the coordination of project information and consultant input

* Assisting with site visits and project reviews as required

* Contributing to residential and hospitality led projects within a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

* RIBA Part 2 qualification in Architecture

* Previous professional experience within a UK architecture practice

* Strong design and technical skills with a keen eye for detail

* Good knowledge of UK planning processes and Building Regulations

* Proficiency in industry software such as Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
