EYFS Teacher - Rotherham
Are you a passionate and experienced EYFS Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Rotherham?
Academics are working closely with a range of welcoming nurseries and primary schools throughout Rotherham who are seeking dedicated EYFS specialists to support Nursery and Reception classes on a temporary, ongoing supply basis. This role is specifically suited to teachers who have a strong background within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and are confident delivering high-quality early years provision that supports children's development during this crucial stage of learning.
Position: EYFS Teacher
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As an EYFS Teacher in Rotherham, you will deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
This role requires a teacher who is genuinely passionate about Early Years education and has specialist EYFS experience. You will be responsible for creating nurturing and stimulating learning environments where children feel safe, supported, and confident to explore and learn.
Working across Nursery and Reception settings, you will support children in developing essential early literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills while ensuring learning remains fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework
* Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred learning opportunities
* Support children's communication, language, literacy, and numeracy development
* Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress using EYFS assessment methods
* Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
* Recent and relevant experience teaching within EYFS settings
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
* Passion for supporting children's early development and learning
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
