We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-regarded primary academy in Dunstable, Bedfordshire for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years setting in a school that caters for children aged 2-11 and holds a "Good" Ofsted rating (June 2022). The school prides itself on delivering a holistic, Christian-based education, nurturing confident, compassionate and independent learners within a warm, family-oriented environment.
The Role:
* Supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, both in class and through targeted small-group or 1:1 support
* Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of engaging learning activities
* Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion and emotional development
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning / Childcare (or equivalent)
* Experience working as a EYFS Teaching Assistant is highly desirable
* A caring, proactive and patient approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Able to commue to Dunstable
Trial Opportunity:
The school is keen to trial a suitable candidate before the February half term, allowing both the school and candidate to ensure a good fit ahead of the fixed-term start.
