EYFS/KS1 Primary Tutor - Wokingham (10 Hours per Week)

Quantum Scholars are seeking a qualified EYFS/KS1 Primary Teacher to provide 1:1 personalised tuition for a non-verbal primary-aged pupil in Wokingham who is currently accessing Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS). This role will start in September.

This is a part-time position offering 10 hours of tuition per week and is expected to run for the full academic year, with the potential to continue beyond this. This could be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step away from the traditional classroom environment while continuing to make a meaningful impact through personalised 1:1 teaching.

The successful candidate will deliver tailored, engaging sessions within the pupil's home, supporting their individual learning needs and helping them make meaningful progress in a nurturing and supportive environment.

The Role:

* Deliver 10 hours of 1:1 tuition per week.

* Provide personalised learning tailored to the pupil's needs and abilities.

* Work with a non-verbal primary-aged pupil accessing EOTAS provision.

* Tuition will take place in the pupil's home in Wokingham.

* Long-term opportunity for the full school year, with the possibility of extension.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

* Experience teaching within EYFS and/or KS1.

* Experience supporting children with additional needs, including non-verbal communication, is highly desirable.

* A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach to teaching.

* An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's educational journey through personalised, meaningful support.

If you are passionate about inclusive education and are looking for a rewarding part-time role, we would love to hear from you.
