Location: Chiswick

Salary: Up to £38,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

PRS Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a high-profile commercial site located in Chiswick. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in building fabric maintenance who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

This role would suit a Fabric Technician already working in a similar environment who is eager to progress and expand their skillset. In return, our client offers a competitive salary of up to £38,000, ongoing training, and genuine career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out a wide range of building fabric repairs and maintenance tasks, including:

- Carpentry

- Painting & decorating

- Tiling

- Plastering

- Flooring repairs

- Glazing

- Brickwork and fencing

- Replace carpet and ceramic floor tiles as required

- Replace suspended ceiling tiles and clean ceiling grilles

- Support other engineers on site when needed

- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations

- Deliver excellent customer service to site occupants and stakeholders

Requirements

- City & Guilds qualification in one or more of the following:

- Bricklaying

- Plastering

- Tiling

- Painting & Decorating

- Proven experience in commercial building maintenance

- Strong understanding of facilities maintenance services

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- A proactive and professional approach to work
