Fabric Technician – Battersea
Location: Battersea
Salary: £35,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

PRS Recruitment is looking for a skilled Fabric Technician to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across a large commercial contract in Battersea. The role covers 3–4 nearby sites, all within a 5–10 minute walking distance. We’re looking for someone with a solid background in facilities or building maintenance—either commercial or residential—who takes pride in delivering high standards. Key Responsibilities:
- General fabric repairs and maintenance
- Basic carpentry – including door handles, frames, and fittings
- Painting and decorating
- Furniture repairs and adjustments
- Hanging pictures, shelving, and small fixtures
- Floor tile replacement (carpet and ceramic)
- Replacing ceiling tiles and cleaning ceiling grilles
- Basic lighting tasks
Requirements:
- City & Guilds qualifications in one or more of the following: Bricklaying, Plastering, Tiling, Painting & Decorating
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong understanding of building and facilities maintenance
