Are you an experienced and proactive Fabric Technician looking to join a dynamic team where your expertise will directly support high standards in building maintenance and operations?

We’re looking for a skilled professional to deliver a wide range of planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks across our site, ensuring safety, quality, and minimal operational downtime. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our building structures and finishes, working both independently and collaboratively with our dedicated team and specialist contractors.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks via our Planon IWMS system.

- Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues with priority response.

- Conduct daily and periodic building inspections, producing work schedules as needed.

- Undertake routine maintenance of building fabric including repairs, finishes, and decorating.

- Maintain accurate updates on all tasks through the IWMS system.

- Support external OEM contractors during surveys and inspections.

- Act as a Health & Safety ambassador, promoting a safe working environment.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and a collaborative team culture.

- Participate in incident management and recovery planning exercises.

✅ What We’re Looking For Minimum Requirements

- Proven experience in fabric maintenance, repairs, construction, painting, and decorating.

Essential Skills

- Good understanding of compliance and statutory building obligations.

- Strong communication skills for reporting and information sharing.

- Ability to evaluate and act on information to support decision-making.

- Commitment to excellent customer service delivery.

- Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively.

- Resilient under pressure with a collaborative mindset.

Desirable (But Not Essential)

- IOSH Working Safely qualification.

- City & Guilds Level 3 in a relevant building/fabric subject.

- IPAF or PASMA Working at Height certification.

💰 What’s In It for You?

- Starting salary: £32,400 (90% of reference point)

- Benefits package worth 8%: £2,592

- On-call/overtime (after 6 months): Approx. £8,000

- Annual bonus: 10% (£3,240)

- January allowance: £1,000 for on-site only work
