We are currently partnering with a confidential organisation seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to join its growing team. This is a broad, hands-on role with significant responsibility across full P&L ownership, financial control, and support on bids and tenders.
Key responsibilities
* Take ownership of the full P&L, providing accurate insight into performance, trends, and commercial drivers.
* Lead monthly management accounts, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
* Support the preparation of bids and tenders, ensuring strong financial modelling, pricing input, and commercial review.
* Partner closely with operational and senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and improve profitability.
* Maintain robust financial controls, processes, and reporting standards.
* Provide clear commentary and recommendations to support business growth and strategic planning.
* Manage and develop finance processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Support audit, compliance, and wider finance projects as required.
About you
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
* Proven experience operating in a commercially focused role with full P&L responsibility.
* Strong track record in supporting bids and tenders.
* Confident communicator who can build relationships across the business.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
