Finance Operations Manager
Location: North Chailey (Hybrid/Onsite)
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

The Role
They're looking for a Finance Operations Manager to lead their day-to-day financial operation. You'll oversee their accounts payable and receivable processes, cash flow, VAT, reconciliations, and team leadership - ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strong financial control across the board.
* Leading and developing a small, dedicated team across AP and AR functions
* Managing payment cycles, credit control, supplier relationships, and internal queries
* Overseeing reconciliations, VAT returns, fixed assets, and financial controls
* Monitoring cash flow and producing forecasts for strategic planning
* Supporting audits and ensuring their systems and policies remain robust
* Driving improvements and streamlining processes through technology and automation
* Collaborating with colleagues to strengthen insight, efficiency, and delivery
Skills and Qualifications
* A relevant finance qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) or working towards one
* Experience leading finance operations within a medium-sized organisation
* Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, cash flow, and VAT
* Skilled in managing people, systems, and process change
* Confident communicator, able to explain financial data to non-finance audiences
* A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
* Familiarity with Sage, Access, or similar finance systems (desirable)
