Financial Accountant – Northampton £45,000 – £55,000 Full time office based with free onsite parking If you are an established Financial Accountant looking for a role where you can take full ownership, operate with autonomy, and be part of a stable, well run business, this is a strong opportunity. The RoleThis is a broad, hands on financial accounting position with real ownership across the finance function. Key responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes Preparation of VAT returns Oversight of sales and purchase ledger activity Supporting and mentoring transactional finance staff Working closely with senior finance leadership on systems and process improvements Liaising with international teams across multiple locations and currencies You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely reporting, while contributing to the continued development of systems, processes, and controls. What They’re Looking ForFully/part qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience at Financial Accountant level Proven experience within a financial accounting role Strong systems capability, ideally with ERP systems such as SAP Confident operating in structured, process driven environments Experience within multi currency or international businesses would be advantageous Just as importantly, you will be someone who values stability, takes ownership of your work, and is looking to embed within a business long term.
