My client, an innovative, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their expert team of design engineers, based in the bustling, diverse city of Manchester.
Essential Criteria:
* A Degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, or similar, relevant discipline
* Extensive experience of having worked in a flood risk drainage role
* Familiarity with the relevant planning and environmental regulations, as well as the appropriate Section Agreements and their respective applications
* Experience of using GIS software (e.g., QGIS), and other relevant software packages
* Hold Chartered Status, or actively working toward attaining this

* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience of managing a range of stakeholder relations
In the fast-paced role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a dedicated team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career and progress through the ranks. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:
* Authoring Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies, and planning applications
* Overseeing Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) designs, producing plans and technical drawings
* Preparing flood risk and mitigation reports for a range of clientele
* Establishing and maintaining working relations with a range of clients and other stakeholders
* Providing support to wider service areas, contributing to the company's overall vision
