My client, an innovative, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their expert team of design engineers, based near the industrial, metropolitan city of Bradford.
Essential Criteria:
* A Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Hydrology, or another relevant discipline
* Extensive commercial experience in a flood risk and drainage role
* Familiarity with planning and environmental regulations, as well as the appropriate Section Agreements and their respective applications within the industry
* Experience of using GIS software (e.g., QGIS), and other relevant software packages
* Hold Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this

* An additional, postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Experience of stakeholder management
In the varied role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a dedicated team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career and progress through the ranks. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:
* Producing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies, and planning applications
* Overseeing the design of Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS), producing technical drawings and plans
* Preparing flood risk and mitigation reports for a range of public and private clients
* Establishing and maintaining working relations with a number of clients and other stakeholders
* Providing support to wider service areas, contributing to the company's overall vision
