Are you a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher looking for your next challenge? Academics is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Calderdale for a fixed term cover position starting in September 2025.
📚 The Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and practical lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Plan and assess high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles
* Foster a love for food education, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles
* Work collaboratively with a supportive department and wider school staff
* Inspire students to develop practical skills and a strong understanding of food science
✅ Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
