An established and nurturing independent school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Tutor to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis (2 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the education and training sector.
About the Role
We are looking for an engaging and creative tutor who can deliver high-quality Food Technology sessions tailored to the needs of diverse learners. You will play a key role in building students' confidence, independence, and practical life skills through hands-on lessons and personalised support within the education and training sector.
What We're Looking For
✔ Prior experience working with special educational needs (essential)
✔ A genuine passion for helping vulnerable or neurodivergent learners succeed
✔ Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Food Technology lessons
✔ Strong communication and behaviour-support skills
✔ Formal teaching qualifications are highly preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
✔ A positive, patient, and proactive approach to learning
