Impact Recruitment are looking for an experienced logistics professional to join one of our clients on a permanent basis. In the role you will be responsible for managing the despatch of goods, keeping accurate stock levels, and maintaining a clean working environment.
This is a role that offers job security and the chance to work for a family run business who value their team. You will need access to your own transport as this company are based in a rural location.
Role: Logistics Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
Location: Northampton
Daily Duties:
* To package and label items within the warehouse
* Palletise products and wrap the pallet for safety
* Load goods onto vehicles using forklifts
* Ensure excellent hygiene is maintained
* Count and organise stock levels
* Following procedures and ensure good time keeping
* Complete documentation as required.
* Communicate and liaise with other departments
* Organise the yard and storage areas
* Operate various forklifts
Skills and Knowledge required
* Forklift license required (Counterbalance)
* Good accuracy and computer skills
* Enthusiastic team player and keen to learn
* Excellent self-motivation
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent Numeracy & communication skills
* Able to work with attention to detail
