French Teacher / Stoke-on-Trent / Easter Start / Fixed-Term Contract
Are you a passionate French Teacher looking for a stable role with the view to go permanent from September?
Academics is currently recruiting for a committed French Teacher to join a supportive, high-performing secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a full-time, fixed-term position running from Easter (13th April) through to the end of the summer term, with the view to go permanent in September.
The Role:
* Teach French across KS3-KS4
* Deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and communication skills
* Plan, mark and assess work in line with school expectations
* Promote positive behaviour and active participation
* Bring the language to life through conversation, culture and interactive learning
Applicant Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in French (or equivalent)
* Experience teaching French at secondary level
* Strong classroom management and an engaging teaching style
* Passion for languages and student progress
* Ability to inspire students of all abilities
* Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers
