Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of audit and accounts clients acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive technical support and identifying opportunities for additional advisory services.
Oversee team and resource planning to ensure all assignments are delivered efficiently and within budget.
Manage the full WIP and billing cycle in accordance with internal KPIs and firm profitability goals.
Lead client onboarding and engagement processes, ensuring seamless integration into the firm+rsquo;s service lines.
Participate actively in management and workflow meetings to drive firm-wide operational efficiency.
As a Client Service Manager you will:
Review statutory accounts prepared under UK GAAP (FRS 102/105) and IFRS to ensure they meet high technical standards.
Lead and manage statutory audit assignments from the initial planning phase through to completion and Director review.
Ensure all corporate and personal tax compliance requirements are met while identifying proactive tax planning opportunities for clients.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, taking responsibility for appraisals, probationary reviews, and on-the-job technical training.
Oversee company secretarial duties, ensuring all client data held at Companies House is accurate and current.
Provide clear, constructive feedback on work prepared by seniors and trainees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
