Job title: Geoenvironmental Consultant

Location: Lincoln

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

An established environmental and ground engineering consultancy in Lincoln is looking to take on a Geoenvironmental Consultant to support the delivery of a varied portfolio of site investigation and land quality projects. This role offers the chance to work on technically interesting sites while developing your skills within a supportive and experienced team.

You will be involved in projects from initial desk study through to remediation and validation, working across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and redevelopment.

Key responsibilities:

* Producing Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments

* Supporting Phase 2 site investigations and supervising site works

* Soil, groundwater, and gas monitoring and sampling

* Interpreting laboratory data and contributing to interpretative reports

* Undertaking quantitative and qualitative risk assessments

* Assisting with remediation strategy design and validation reporting

* Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulators

What we're looking for:

* Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geoenvironmental Engineering, or a related discipline

* Experience in land quality and contaminated land projects (graduate to mid-level considered)

* Factual and interpretative report writing experience

* Familiarity with UK guidance such as CLR11, BS10175, and EA frameworks

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Full UK driving licence
