A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to expand its geoenvironmental team in Leeds with the appointment of a Geoenvironmental Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established consultancy with a strong national presence, working across a diverse range of infrastructure, residential, commercial and regeneration projects throughout the UK.

The successful Geoenvironmental Consultant will join a collaborative ground engineering team and work closely with geotechnical engineers, environmental specialists, planners and civil engineers on technically challenging developments from initial site investigation through to remediation and validation.

The Geoenvironmental Consultant role offers excellent career progression, structured training and exposure to major multidisciplinary projects within a supportive consultancy environment.

Responsibilities:

* Phase 1 desk studies and preliminary risk assessments

* Designing and managing ground investigations

* Soil and groundwater sampling and logging

* Factual and interpretative report writing

* Quantitative risk assessments

* Liaising with clients, subcontractors and regulators

* Assisting with remediation strategy design and verification

* Supporting junior staff and contributing to project delivery

Requirements:

* Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geoenvironmental Engineering or related subject

* Experience within a geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancy role

* Strong report writing and communication skills

* Experience with Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations

* Knowledge of current contaminated land legislation and guidance

* Full UK driving licence
