Responsibilities

As the Head of Geo-Environmental, your core responsibilities will include:

* Overseeing and coordinating laboratory and field operations to ensure efficient delivery of services, contributing to overall profitability.

* Developing, monitoring, and maintaining departmental budgets, operational metrics, and strategies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Head of Geo-Environmental position will demonstrate:

* Extensive expertise in areas such as ground investigation, contaminated land assessment, materials testing, and waste classification.

* A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Geology or Environmental Chemistry (preferred).

* A robust understanding of health and safety requirements, including conducting risk assessments and implementing safe work practices.

* Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills, coupled with a proactive and professional approach.

* Flexibility to travel occasionally, with overnight stays when required.

* A valid UK driving licence.
