Responsibilities
As a Geotechnical Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
* Designing and managing ground investigations.
* Conducting Phase 1 desk studies and preparing interpretative reports.
* Performing geotechnical risk assessments.
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
* Supporting and mentoring junior engineers while learning from senior and principal engineers.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
* Experience in ground investigation and geotechnical engineering.
* A full UK driving licence.
* The ability to commute to the Birmingham office.
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve a mix of office-based and site-based activities, including:
* Planning and supervising ground investigations.
* Analysing data and preparing technical reports.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Engaging with clients to provide updates and address project needs.
* Contributing to the development of junior team members.
