We are looing for a Geotechnical Engineer who is interested to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Derby. If you are looking to join a consultancy that specialises in delivering high-quality solutions for existing commercial and residential developments, we woud love to hear from you.
The Role
This Geotechnical Engineer position will see you working across a variety of projects, supporting the assessment, investigation, and development of sites within existing commercial and residential environments.
As a Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and supervising ground investigations
* Soil and rock logging in line with industry standards
* Producing factual and interpretive geotechnical reports
* Carrying out analysis and providing foundation and design recommendations
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
* Supporting junior staff and contributing to project delivery
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking to develop technically while gaining exposure to a strong pipeline of repeat business across existing developments.
Requirements
* Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or similar
* Experience within a geotechnical or ground investigation role
* Strong understanding of site investigation techniques and reporting
* Familiarity with UK standards and Eurocodes
* Full UK driving licence
