Are you a Geotechnical Engineer looking to work on a diverse range of projects while progressing your career with a growing consultancy?

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join an established team in Watford. Working across residential, commercial, infrastructure and industrial developments, you will be involved in delivering geotechnical solutions from site investigation through to detailed design.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to gain greater project responsibility, work alongside experienced technical specialists and develop their career within a supportive environment.

The Role

* Plan, supervise and interpret ground investigations.

* Produce factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.

* Undertake geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, retaining walls and earthworks.

* Carry out slope stability and settlement assessments.

* Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

* Support project delivery from initial feasibility through to construction.

* Assist with the preparation of technical proposals and fee estimates.

* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Requirements

* Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.

* Experience within a geotechnical consultancy, contractor or ground investigation environment.

* Strong understanding of site investigations and geotechnical reporting.

* Knowledge of foundation design, retaining structures and earthworks.

* Experience using industry-standard geotechnical software is desirable.

* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

* Full UK driving licence.
