A specialist geotechnical design consultancy is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Engineer to join its established London team.

The Role

You will work alongside experienced geotechnical engineers on a wide range of design-focused projects, taking responsibility for technical assessments and developing practical engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

* Interpretation of ground investigation data

* Geotechnical analysis and design

* Foundation and retaining structure design

* Slope stability and earthworks assessments

* Preparation of geotechnical reports and design calculations

* Providing technical input throughout project lifecycles

* Liaising with clients, contractors, and design teams

* Supporting junior engineers where appropriate

Requirements

* Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline

* Experience within a geotechnical consultancy environment

* Strong understanding of geotechnical design principles

* Experience producing technical reports and calculations

* Familiarity with industry-standard geotechnical software

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
