Overview

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for acoustics and environmental noise? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join our client's team in Manchester. Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum

Responsibilities

As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will:

* Assist in the delivery of environmental noise projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

* Support senior consultants in conducting noise impact assessments for aviation and other sectors.

* Use specialist software to model and predict noise levels.

* Conduct on-site noise monitoring and surveys.

* Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

* Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in acoustics and noise management.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

* A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related field.

* A strong interest in environmental noise and aviation noise projects.

* Basic knowledge of acoustic principles and noise measurement techniques.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

* A willingness to learn and develop new skills.

* A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).

Day-to-Day

Your typical day as a Graduate Acoustic Consultant may include:

* Conducting noise surveys at various locations, including airports and urban environments.

* Analyzing noise data using specialized software and tools.
