An established and well-respected building services consultancy in Leamington Spa is looking to recruit a Graduate Building Services Engineer to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects and technologies.
The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for a recent graduate in Building Services Engineering or a related field who is passionate about building performance, sustainability, and the built environment. You'll be eager to develop your skills, take on responsibility, and work as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design and development of mechanical and electrical building services systems
* Perform lighting and cable calculations using software tools like Dialux and Electrical OM (training provided)
* Support heating, cooling, ventilation, and domestic services design using spreadsheets and software like IES (training provided)
* Collaborate with manufacturers on equipment selection and system integration (e.g., VRV/heat pump systems)
* Produce 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD and develop 3D models in Revit (training provided)
* Attend site visits and project meetings with senior engineers
* Engage in continued professional development and keep up to date with industry standards
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree (BEng, BSc) or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
* Basic IT proficiency
* Willingness to learn industry-specific software and tools
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A keen interest in sustainable building design and engineering
