Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Winchester

Salary: £26,000-£31,000

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting ground investigations and a variety of geotechnical site activities

* Recording soil and rock conditions and carrying out in-situ testing

* Assisting in the production of factual and interpretative geotechnical reports

* Contributing to earthworks evaluations and foundation design recommendations

* Organising laboratory testing and analysing site investigation results

* Assisting with remediation projects and ground engineering solutions

* Overseeing site activities while maintaining health & safety standards

* Collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary project teams

* Keeping clear and accurate site records and technical documentation

* Communicating with clients, contractors, and external project stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

* Degree qualified in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related subject (ideally achieving a 2:1 or above)

* Keen interest in geotechnical engineering and ground investigation works

* Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including technical reporting

* Good analytical and problem-solving skills

* Motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to develop professionally

* Able to work collaboratively within a team environment

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accurate record keeping

* Flexible and willing to undertake site-based work when required

* Full UK driving licence is advantageous

* Must have the right to work in the UK
