A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Laindon is looking to appoint a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN) to join their team for the full academic year, from September 2026 until July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational psychologists or anyone considering a long-term career supporting children with additional needs.

Working alongside experienced teachers and SEN professionals, you'll help pupils overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and reach their individual goals in a nurturing and encouraging environment.

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant (SEN), you will:

* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND

* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities

* Encourage confidence, independence and positive social interactions

* Adapt your support to suit individual learning needs

* Help create a calm, inclusive and engaging classroom environment

* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
