We are representing a respected and forward-thinking consultancy in the recruitment of a Graduate Planner for their Norwich office. About the Role:

As a Graduate Planner, you'll support the Norwich-based planning team in preparing and delivering planning applications and development strategies across a wide range of sectors. With hands-on experience and guidance, you'll gain the core competencies required to thrive in the planning profession.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the drafting of planning applications, pre-application enquiries, and appeals

*

Conduct planning research and assist in basic appraisals

*

Prepare reports, letters, and other documents under supervision

*

Undertake site visits and contribute to community engagement activities

*

Monitor and review Local Authority plans and relevant policy updates

*

Assist in preparing fee proposals and business development materials

*

Develop your technical knowledge through practical, on-the-job learning

*

Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders throughout the planning process

What We're Looking For:

A degree in Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline (or working towards one)

Enthusiasm for planning and a proactive approach to learning

Clear and confident communication skills-written and verbal
