Are you a recent graduate in Town Planning or a related discipline, looking to kick-start your career with a forward-thinking and dynamic consultancy?

We are partnering with a fast-growing, independent planning and development consultancy with offices in Essex to recruit a Graduate Planner to join their collaborative and entrepreneurial team. With a growing portfolio of clients ranging from landowners and developers to local authorities, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of planning applications and strategic land projects across the South East.

The Role:

As a Graduate Planner, you will support senior team members in:

*

Preparing and submitting planning applications

*

Engaging in local plan representations

*

Undertaking site appraisals and research

*

Liaising with clients, local authorities and stakeholders

*

Working across a variety of residential, commercial and rural development projects

This consultancy prides itself on being different - they reject the "one-size-fits-all" model and instead cultivate an environment that values diversity, individuality and innovation. The business fosters a non-hierarchical, team-driven culture where ideas are encouraged and people are invested in.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

*

Degree-qualified in Town Planning, Geography, or a related subject

*

Working towards (or interested in pursuing) MRTPI accreditation

*

Passionate about the planning industry with a proactive, inquisitive mindset

*

A confident communicator, both written and verbal

*

Eager to contribute to a collaborative, modern planning team

Previous placement or work experience in a planning or property environment is beneficial but not essential.

What's on Offer:

*

A supportive and dynamic environment where your development is a priority

*

Exposure to a diverse range of projects and clients from day one

*

Clear progression pathways and investment in professional training (including RTPI support)

*
