Location: Oxfordshire | Full-Time | Entry-Level Opportunity

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a multidisciplinary practice of planners, architects, and urban designers for a Graduate Town Planner to join their planning team. With an excellent track record of delivering sustainable, people-focused developments, this award-winning practice works across a wide range of sectors and offers a collaborative and professionally enriching environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent planning graduate to begin their career within a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking consultancy that places strong emphasis on both design and planning excellence.

Role Overview:

As a Graduate Planner, you will support senior members of the planning team across all stages of the development process. You will gain hands-on experience in preparing planning applications and appeals, assisting with appraisals, conducting policy research, and contributing to high-quality planning advice on a wide range of projects - from small bespoke schemes to major mixed-use developments.

What We're Looking For:

*

RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related subject (recent graduates encouraged to apply)

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills

*

An interest in high-quality design and sustainable development

*

A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced professionals

*

Some work experience in a planning-related role (e.g. placement or internship) is beneficial but not essential

What's on Offer:

*

Opportunity to join a nationally respected practice with a multidisciplinary team of planners, architects, and designers

*

Structured mentoring and support toward RTPI Chartership

*

Participation in company-wide CPD events, including site visits, annual away days, and internal workshops

*

Hybrid working arrangements with a supportive and flexible culture

*

Involvement in meaningful community, education, and charity initiatives
