Job Title: Graduate Town Planner

Location: Cambridge

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Graduate Town Planner to join a growing Planning & Development team based in Cambridge. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, mixed-use, commercial, and strategic development projects across the region.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting the planning process from initial site appraisals through to application submissions and project delivery, working alongside experienced planners in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

* Undertaking planning research, policy reviews, and site appraisals

* Preparing planning statements, reports, and supporting documentation

* Liaising with local authorities, clients, consultants, and stakeholders

* Supporting senior planners across a range of development projects

* Monitoring planning policy and legislative updates

About You

* Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

* Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop professionally

* Interest in working towards RTPI accreditation/MRTPI status

* Previous planning experience or internship beneficial but not essential
