A well-regarded independent planning consultancy is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to begin their career in a dynamic environment, working on a wide range of high-quality projects across the capital and beyond.
The Role
Working alongside experienced planning professionals, you will support the delivery of planning advice and applications across sectors including residential, mixed-use, commercial, and urban regeneration. Key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
* Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals
* Supporting the drafting of planning statements, reports, and supporting documents
* Engaging with local authorities, clients, and consultants
* Monitoring changes in planning policy and legislation
About You
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline
* A strong interest in progressing towards MRTPI status (full support provided)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and professional approach to work
* Previous internship or work experience in planning is advantageous but not essential
