SALARY: £26,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
LOCATION: Working on sites across the Polegate, East Sussex and South East England
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
PLEASE NOTE: A full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points) is essential
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a number of new job opportunities for someone that enjoys working outdoors, is reliable, with some previous industry experience or has transferrable skills to join a leading arboriculture landscaping and ecology contractor.
We have positions for a Grounds Maintenance Operative / Groundworker (including Tractor Operators with flail experience) / Arborist / Arboriculturist / Tree Surgeon / De-Veg / Vegetation Management Operative / MEWP Operative / Tree Cutter / Tree Climber.
The company provide all aspects of professional arboriculture & tree surgery requirements to highways, rail, landowners and commercial sectors to include local authorities, housing associations and schools.
The company will pay for CSCS and safety critical medical if you don’t already have it.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative / Groundworker (including Tractor Operators with flail experience) / Arborist / Arboriculturist / Tree Surgeon / De-Veg / Vegetation Management Operative / MEWP Operative / Tree Cutter / Tree Climber you will have the following skills and experience:
• A positive attitude
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Be self-motivated
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented
• Flexible (occasional night work is offered at a premium rate)
You will hold:
• Full driving licence (with no more than 3 points) essential
• Demonstrable experience within a similar role (ideally with climbing or industry experience)
• Hold CS30/31 (chainsaw cross cutting and felling) / Chipper / Strimmer tickets
The following would be advantageous:
• CS38/39 or equivalent
• CS47 or equivalent
• MEWP Accreditation
• First aid (forestry)
• Chapter 8 signing, lighting & guarding
